Our tasting notes
This is a creeper that definitely has Duckett DNA. It’s pure Heartwood ethos: Starts small, then builds and builds to an ‘In Your Face’ crescendo. Recklessly unashamed, no need to let her breath like the Witches Cauldron, just pop that cork and enjoy pure dynamite from the very first sip. We’ll tip our hat and call this an award winner. If we’re wrong, well, we don’t really care because it ticks every box in our book……… Cinnamon doughnuts, cherry mud cake, rose petals in the morning, a hint of grindhouse road tar all travelling at a 1985 ‘Spinal Tap’ 11. And if you stop and listen, listen closely, you might just hear Tim’s 70’s Spotify mix, humming from your snifter. We’re blown away Mr H, a Heartwood for the ages, long may it reign. 😉
