A burnished copper glow gives rise to the intent of this silky single malt whisky. The nose detects vanilla and citrus, typical of Hellyers Road offerings, while the palate is seduced with an oily sweetness that lingers through lavender and honey to a mellow, toasty aftertaste. Time spent in the cask has added a new dimension.
