Description:
This Hellyers Road offering is a marriage of 12yo ex-bourbon (American Oak) and 5yo ex-port (French Oak). Named the Journeyman in tribute of the distances both casks travelled, from the USA and Portugal straight to remote, North-West Tasmania. Non-chill-filtered and with no added colour, this whisky punches well above its ABV in both complexity and flavour.

Hellyers Road is back with an almighty ROAR with stunning new packaging and a tweaked recipe. The distillery has well and truly steered their ship back to calmer waters and are kicking goal after goal. The malt type is the same, however, Fiona has tweaked the water ratios, the amount of yeast, salt additions to the mash, and the distillation practices.
