Producer’s Tasting Notes
NOSE: Immediate port notes up front, then cedar and sandalwood, orange peel, french polish/varnish, apricots, cherries and sour plums.
PALATE: Fruity (apricots and dried oranges), nutty, warming, with hints of mint and honey.
FINISH: Nutty and chalky/papery, a little woody, warming and the nuttiness hangs around for ever
Comment: Possibly our best effort to date, at least to my palate. An absolute cracker!
