If anything, it’s more nuanced and rounded than its older (Batch 3) cask strength brother bringing florals to the table with aromatic ease. The staples are still present for all you ‘Cask Strength Whiskyphiles’ with a syrupy mouthfeel of dark fruits, prunes and raisin fudge around the edges which will bring much delight to a whole spectrum of palates. Simply stunning!
