Description:
This is the 13th release from Valero and Elisa Jimenez, owners and distillers at the Joadja distillery. They continue to raise the bar in producing stunning sherry cask, single malt whisky with a keen eye on keeping it as affordable as they possibly can.

This expression was laid to rest in Spanish Pedro Ximenez casks for 2 years and is the distillery’s second true “Paddock to Bottle” release (Second barley crop), having used their very own Joadja barley that was harvested in December 2018 to produce their new make spirit.

The Distillery comments:
“We strongly believe that Whisky should reflect the land on which the barley is grown and where the water is sourced. Being one of only a handful of Single Malt Whisky distilleries in the world who grow their own barley and have access to pristine spring water on site sets us apart when considering where our unique flavours are developed. Add this to our hand-picked ex-Sherry barrels (from our birth place in Spain) for maturing our spirit and we have the ingredients for a unique Australian Single Malt Whisky”
