The Joadja distillery has just released their 2nd edition single-malt whisky in this handy 200ml size. It represents tremendous value for money as it’s cheaper than pro rata for the 500mL bottle and is perfect if you want to sample the whisky without having to open the full sized bottle.
It’s unpeated, non-chill-filtered and handcrafted using 100% Australian barley and the pristine water from the distilleries on site spring. It was double distilled in copper pot still and then laid to rest in 6 x 32 litre ex-oloroso sherry casks that contained oloroso wine made from 50% PX and 50% Palomino grapes. These barrels were personally sourced by the distiller from the Bodegas of Andalucia, Southern Spain.

NOSE. Luscious, sweet sherry, Commandaria (desert wine), ripe tobacco and sun-dried prunes.
PALATE. The palate starts (PX) sweet and then melds to a moderate dry signature oloroso mouthfeel bringing dark chocolate, dates and spices.
FINISH. Moderate and warming.
