Dark Mofo in Tasmania is often synonymous with whisky distilleries releasing unique bottlings to celebrate the Devilish festivities, and 2025 is no different. For this year’s Winter Feast release, the Killara distillery aged spirit in a 100L PX Sherry cask before finishing the whisky in delicious rum. Kristy (owner and distiller) has sent an allocation our way for our loyal supporters as well. Don’t miss out!

About Killara Distillery
The distillery was established in 2016 by Kristy Lark-Booth and is located at 32 Ogilvie Lane Richmond, about 30min from Hobart in Tasmania. It’s the first distillery to be owned and operated by a second-generation distiller. The name Killara is a nod to Kristy’s parents, Bill & Lyn Lark who started the modern-day whisky industry in Australia back in 1992. Killara is the name of the street where Kristy grew up where the first distillery was registered over 150 years after the last distillery in Hobart closed its doors.
