Our tasting notes.
Full bodied, nicely complex and viscous. The whisky drinks more like a 50%+ ABV which is testament to Chantal and Sam’s whisky making nous that has Kinglake kicking goal after goal for such a young distillery.

Description:
A new edition to Kinglake’s core range, this whisky was aged full-term (for 3 years) in ex-tawny port French oak barrels. The team at Kinglake have managed to offer this whisky @ $100 per bottle adding to the ‘market correction’, or renaissance (if you will) of the pricing of Australian whisky. The result is an easy drinking whisky with beautiful depth and spice.
The Distillery comments;
“A fantastic contrast to our soft, sweet, ex-tawny aged single malt, this whisky is rich, dry and spicy”
