Whisky in Isolation Mull It Over Again Kinglake Distillery 500ml 58%

Distillery tasting notes
Sam Lowe, Co-Owner & Head Distiller at Kinglake Distillery.
Nose: Tobacco, Earth and Leather; Stewed Fruit; and a hint of Redskins
Palate: At first all the usual ex-bourbon characteristics of vanilla, toffee caramel and cinnamon
Finish: Then the mulberry influence brings rhubarb notes. The mouthfeel becomes oily and viscous before slightly medicinal peat rounds things out.

Whisky in Isolation tasting notes
Nose: Earthy at first, like a damp rainforest floor; then sweet vanilla and bright orchard fruit notes
Palate: Malted honeycomb with a chewy mouthfeel; aromatic lychees bringing additional sweetness, floral with a touch of acidity.
Finish: A rich, long finish of Black Forest cake with smoked chocolate ganache.
