Launceston 16th Release Peated Cask Matured H17-16 Single Malt Whisky 500ml 46%
The 16th release, straight from Hanger 17 that yielded 650 bottles.
Region: Western Junction, Tasmania
Batch No: H17-16
Cask type: French Oak, Tawny (Aus Port)
Bottler: Launceston Distillery
This peated gem is part of Launceston’s 2021 range which is one of our pics of the bunch.
The smooth, smoky whisky was distilled using a mix of Tasmanian malt barley and richly peated Scottish malt. Just like Angus, it is Tasmanian made with Scottish bloodlines.
Everything happens under the roof of the historic Hanger 17 at Launceston Airport.
