Launceston Bourbon Cask Matured Cask Strength H17-27 Single Malt Whisky 500ml 62.3%
The 27th release, straight from Hanger 17 that yielded 250 bottles.
Region: Western Junction, Tasmania
Batch No: H17-27
Cask type: AO/Bourbon
Bottler: Launceston Distillery
For this expression, a small portion of American Oak casks were vatted and allowed to “marry” together before bottling resulting in a robust whisky with sweat and toasted aromas. It was double distilled and non-chill filtered to retain depth of character using the finest Tasmanian grown malted barley and pure South Esk river water from grain to bottle.
Everything happens under the roof of the historic Hanger 17 at Launceston Airport.
