Introducing the Vaults Release, Edition 1 from Launceston Distillery!
This whisky is from the distillery’s first expression from 2018 where 17 bottles were held back to create this visual masterpiece. The bottles are individually numbered, boxed in custom made Tasmanian Blackwood and Huon pine presentation cases and are specially labelled to show they are from Launceston’s inaugural release. The rarity of these bottles meant they were only offered to supporters via ‘private application’ to the distillery’s sales manager and this is our only bottle to sell. (No.6 of 17)

Matured in small French oak casks which previously held apera fortified wine, the whisky was made using the finest Tasmanian grown malted barley and pure South Esk river water from grain to bottle. Everything happens under the roof of the historic Hanger 17 at Launceston Airport.
