Limeburners Directors Cut “Peated Sherry Cask” from Barrel-M328 has been smoked with peat collected by hand from the Valley of the Giants in the Great Southern region of WA, not far from the distillery in Albany. It’s the only whisky in the world using this peat source which gives it quite a unique flavour.
The whisky has been matured in a 200-litre ex-bourbon American Oak cask and then finished in an old Australian ex-sherry cask yielding 221 bottles and at 61%alc, is bottled directly from the barrel with no added colouring or chill filtration.
Limeburners Director's Cut ‘Peated Sherry’ is full bodied in taste with an elegant, smooth finish and comes from the distilleries ‘Directors select reserve of barrels’ representing the top shelf of the Limeburners range.
