This Limeburners Port Cask, cask-strength Single Malt Whisky is matured in second-fill bourbon barrels and finished in a very old small port cask yielding 176 bottles and at 61%alc, is bottled directly from the barrel with no added colouring or chill filtration.
Limeburners Port Cask, 'cask-strength' is a whisky connoisseurs delight, made to savour and full of complex flavours with a silky-smooth finish. Distinctly Australian and perfectly unique.
A medium warm coloured whisky with intense and complex flavours exhibiting spice and fruit aromas when neat, a splash of water unleashes malted barley, aromas of port and vanilla with hints of honey, raisins and buttery caramel.
