Nose: Powerful and so enticing! Honey and toffee melds with clean maltiness to provide a beguiling invitation.
Palate: Big, explosive and peppery at the front with beautifully balanced oak tannins holding it all together. Toffee and caramel sweetness come through late and lingers with some nuttiness. A very well crafted Apera monster that screams class and thoroughly justifies the cask strength expression.
Finish: Warm and wonderful. Balanced complexity delivers a perfectly weighted finish. Gentle oak tannins persist in harmony with clean sweet butterscotch married together to create a lingering finish. Delicious!
