This is the 100th cask (OHD-100) filled by founder Casey Overeem and a highly collectable release within the stunning Overeem line-up as it’s the only time an ex-red wine cask has been used to mature their whisky as all other releases are either ex-sherry cask, ex-port cask with the odd ex-bourbon cask offering.
Only 147 bottles were released in very limited quantities. Comes in a stunning display box with two beautifully branded Overeem, Glencairn whisky glasses.
AROMA: Mixed spices, cut dry grass, and coconut. Dried cranberries, dark berries, hints of vanilla
and oak.
PALATE: Super complex tannins from the ample oak influence. Blackcurrant, orange, cinnamon,
grapefruit, anise, and red liquorice.
NOSE: Barley Sugar and more complex oak.
