Here’s another elegant Rochfort whisky expression that was aged in a 15-year-old shiraz cask once graced with some award winning Yangarra Estate reds, including shiraz that was made from hand-picked, organically-grown grapes. Only 80 bottles were yielded from the cask and bottled at of 48.5% ABV.

It’s unfortunate to see the Rochfort Distillery has fallen on hard times, having to close their doors (hopefully not forever). No matter the controversy, they bottled some stunning whisky expressions that are becoming very much sort after since the closure.
