After many years of unavailability, the Shene distillery has graciously given us access to their very first whisky release that was aged in a port cask with a yielded 297 bottles. It was made and jointly released by current owner and founder of Shene, David Kernke and former distiller Damien Mackey.
Made from 100% premium Tasmanian malt barley and pristine highland water, this inaugural Mackey release was mashed, fermented, distilled, matured and bottled at Shene Estate.
