Official tasting notes
A smooth and refined whisky, with intriguing floral notes, tarry smoke and zesty citrus rinds. Rounded and layered with classic malt and spices, and hints of dark chocolate orange. A long, incisive and refined finish.

Description
Here’s a tidy 10-year-old single malt from cult South Australian whisky producer Smith’s Angaston. The whisky is crafted using heavy roasted Flagship barley from Ardrossen on the Yorke Peninsula, malted at Cooper’s Brewery in Adelaide and then double distilled at Yalumba in the Hills above Angaston, Barossa, South Australia.
This single malt whisky marks the second release from the 2011 distillation. Originally aged in a selection of casks for 8 years and then ‘finished’ for 2 years in a combination of casks previously used for our Antique Muscat.
