Official tasting notes
A rich and textured aged whisky with classic flavours imparted by an ex-Muscat cask. Sweet and round with fruitcake spice, raisin fruits and caramelised figs. Pretty aromatics with smooth caramel notes.

Description
From cult whisky maker, Smith’s Angaston comes their latest iteration of True Blue, Aussie ‘uisge beatha’ – single malt whisky. The bottling was carefully crafted using heavy roasted Flagship barely from Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula, malted at Coopers Brewery in Adelaide and then double distilled at Yalumba, in the hills above Angaston, South Australia.
The spirit was aged in a selection of casks for 10 years and ‘finished’ for 2 years in hogshead FH0064 and FH0065 previously used for Antique Muscat. At 56% ABV, the whisky sings songs of complexity and character and is yet another welcome entry into the ever-growing Australian whisky landscape.
