The Starward Wine Cask Edition 1 Single Malt whisky is an exquisite reflection of what whisky can be when tradition is unshackled and new heights are reached. This unique expression was matured in vibrant Barossa Valley, South Australian ex-shiraz barrels that have been individually selected and kept exactly as they leave the winery to take advantage of the uniquely Australian red wine profile.
Starward was created at a time when the Australian whisky scene was quite different and a lot younger than the present day, and Founder, David Vitale threw caution to the wind to create a distinctly Australian whisky using innovative methods with wine cask maturation that pushes the boundaries of what whisky can be.
