This unique expression is matured in vibrant Barossa Valley, South Australian ex-shiraz barrels that have been individually selected and kept untouched as they leave the winery to take advantage of the uniquely Australian red wine profile. The barrels are steamed, not charred, to retain the penetration of wine into the wood resulting in a whisky of impeccable balance and complexity.

Tasting Notes
NOSE: Wafts of vanilla, macadamia nuts and the beautiful dry tannins of the ex-shiraz cask balance effortlessly on the nose.
PALATE: Quite chewy for such a young whisky full of stewed fruits and dark chocolate up front followed by hints of pepper and spice.
FINISH: Dry and lingering
