Producer’s tasting Notes
The big bourbon influence holds lots of sweet corn and sugar notes on the nose, a great feel on the palate with renowned high “estery” mouth feel also present. It’s a great “drinking whisky”

This Governors Reserve is the 3rd bottling in a 3-part series that will be released in 2018. It was hand-picked by Head Distiller, Josh Walker and limited to only 122 bottles. This time around, he chose to mature the new-make in an American Oak Bourbon cask, cutting it to 51.6%alc for bottling.
An interesting fact with this release is that Mr Walker placed 20% of this bourbon cask into a 20lt Port cask for a time and then married it back together. He believes its adds a little to the finish of the whisky and provides a slightly more intense mouth feel.
It’s another rare offering from Timboon that rarely comes up for sale due to the scarcity of the whisky.
