We’re offering both the 700ml and 200ml in the one listing so you can put the big fella in your collection and drink the hell out of his little brother – or drink them both, hehe…. There’s plenty of buzz around this release with the early verdict that Ian Schmidt (owner and operator) has created something very, very special. Ian comments: “Probably the closest batch we have bottled to a Scottish Malt. Best to buy two bottles as they seem to evaporate before your eyes”!
We’re big fans of Ian’s whisky – In Batch 11, he’s created an elegant well rounded, youthful whisky that you can drink, and drink, and drink…….
NOSE: Fruit cake with extra sultanas followed by manuka honey, oak and some distant old leather.
PALATE: Semi viscous, lemon peel and young fruits, quite tart, apricot jam leading to sun dried nuts.
FINISH: Medium and warming with lots of spice, the tartness returns, but in the kind of way that will have you reaching the bottle for more. Great stuff!
