Official tasting notes.
It has a big oily viscus mouth feel, leaving a huge amount of single pot still ginger spice lingering in the long finish. This is the perfect whiskey to consume while listening to Flogging Molly.

From the eclectic mind of John Halton, we introduce his first release new collaborative Band Series that pays tribute to ‘Flogging Molly’ an Irish-American seven-piece Celtic punk band formed in Los Angeles in 1995, led by Irish vocalist Dave King, formerly of the hard rock band Fastway and Katmandu.
This version weighs in at 49.4% ABV and is a marriage of port and bourbon casks finished together in a porter beer cask. The whisky weighs in at 58.55% ABV and is a marriage of port and bourbon casks finished together in a porter beer cask. The whiskey was distilled in Tasmania and is non-chill-filtered, bottled in its natural state and with no added colouring.
