Producer’s tasting notes.
Light amber in colour with glints of caramel. Be drawn in by luxurious floral and vanilla aromas, and discover underlying dried fig, comforting cedar wood and ex-bourbon barrel influence. A confident, layered palate of citrus peel, toffee, mineral, savoury grain and spice with a lingering, buttery finish.
Chillman –
This whisky is a beautiful balanced 1st up offer from 23rd Street. The subtle use of american oak gives it awesome sweet aromas and is light enough to drink on ice. get around it
John Atkins –
What a lovely surprise. Refreshing. This is autumnal sun refracting through dewey drops. Australian botanicals. Lemon myrtle. Something floral about the whole thing. If you’ve ever had a salad with edible flowers. A hint of lavender. This is what I’m loving about my road trip around the Australian Whisky map – Every expression seems so singular and unique, as individual as the postcode, the street from where they hail. In this case 23rd Street. Well worth marking as a favourite on your GPS. You’ll be back.
