Description:
A stunning union of some of Waubs Harbour Distillery’s oldest French Oak ex-Apera Sherry casks and American Oak ex-Bourbon casks. The marriage captures the rugged maritime climate of Bicheno, Tasmania, while allowing the distinctive Tasmanian single malt spirit to shine with purity.

This is no sherry bomb either, it’s elegant, layered, and beautifully balanced. Expect buttered orchard fruits, golden syrup sweetness, and a mineral, coastal freshness. Drawn from foundational casks #4 and #13, this delightful Australian single malt reflects Waubs Harbour’s earliest spirit, matured just over six years beside the Southern Ocean.

“In 2022, as part of our Preview Series of whiskies, we released a very similar style, an Apera Bourbon whisky which to date has continued to be one of our most highly requested whiskies so we’re thrilled to have a similar yet older and even more elegant & complex whisky in our new Limited Release ‘Maritime Sherry’ whisky”.
