This small batch Australian whiskey is produced from locally grown Atherton Tablelands corn and Australian malted barley. With a mash bill of 40% corn and 60% barley, the whiskey was aged for 2 years in a re-coopered 50L ex-shiraz American oak barrel. The whiskey has a real unique flavour profile that should appeal to both bourbon and single malt fans.

We tip our hats to Wes’s take on Tennessee Whiskey with this expression. It strikes all the right notes of rich caramels, buttery custard and old leather with the added layers of baking spices and oak with a youthful kick that is more pleasing than detrimental. No wonder it’s a sell-out at the distillery – with a fantastic price point to boot.

Not great, not a whole lot on the nose, very subtle flavours and probably the least flavoured whisky experience I’ve had. Was really excited to try this but instead it reminds me of drinking the rinse out water after you’ve finished a glass. But with even less flavour.

Not superb as the Elevation Whisky but great nevertheless. Loved it!
