This discontinued Hibiki 12-year-old 700ml bottling is a Japanese release partially matured in plum liquor casks, blended with bourbon-aged malt from Hakushu, sherry casks from Yamazaki and grain whisky from the company’s Chita distillery.
This exceptional Japanese blend also picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010. The Hibiki 12-year-old is no longer been produced and has been replaced by the NAS (No Age Statement) Hibiki Harmony so be sure to add one to your collection today.
NOSE: Citrus fruits, almond milk, banana split and mild oak
PALATE: Dark fruit, almonds, toasted grains and spice.
FINISH: Medium and crisp with fading spice and wood.
