Suntory Hibiki ‘Blossom Harmony’ 2021 Release 700ml 43%
Finished in Sakura wood casks.
Cask Type: Bourbon/Sakura wood
Release Date: May 25th 2021
When Suntory announced the release of the new Hibiki ‘Blossom Harmony’ in May 2021 along with the Yamazaki 2021 Limited Edition (also on our virtual shelves), whisky enthusiasts scoured the corners of the globe in search for these golden eggs.
We’ve had a very small consignment of Hibiki ‘Blossom Harmony’ land on our desks, a blend that was finished in casks made from Sakura wood (Japanese Cherry Blossom trees). The flowering of these Cherry trees is a revered and traditional event in Japan that runs from the end of March to early May, celebrating Japanese culture: Hanami – the transient beauty of flowers.
For this expression, the blend was a marriage of single malts aged in Bourbon casks with the Chita grain being the Sakura aged whisky in the union. The label and presentation box was specially created in reverence of the modern day cherry blossoms.
Limited to one per customer.
