Here’s a rare Karuizawa expression from Batch 32 that is part of the very sort after ‘Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji’ series released from casks of 1999 and 2000 vintage whiskies. Each of the 36 labels in the series features landscape prints created by famed Japanese artist, Hokusai representing Mount Fuji illustrated from different locations in various weather conditions.

This 32nd edition depicts the view of the Mount Fuji Sunset across the Ryōgoku bridge from the bank of the Sumida River at Onmayagashi. Rare, and extremely hard to come by, Karuizawa bottlings are fast disappearing as there aren’t too many casks left worldwide containing such revered whisky.
