Description
Here’s a rare Karuizawa expression from Batch #34 that is part of the very sort after ‘Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji’ series released from casks of 1999 and 2000 vintage whiskies. Each of the 36 labels in the series features landscape prints created by famed Japanese artist, Hokusai representing Mount Fuji illustrated from different locations in various weather conditions.
This 34th edition depicts the view of Mount Fuji from Kuon-Ji, the head of Nichiren Buddhist Temple located in Yamanashi. Visitors will pass by the Fuji River on their way to the temple where they will view the gorgeous vista of Mount Fuji from across the body of water.
