Here’s a rare Karuizawa expression from Batch 36 that is part of the very sort after ‘Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji’ series released from casks of 1999 and 2000 vintage whiskies. Each of the 36 labels in the series features landscape prints created by famed Japanese artist, Hokusai representing Mount Fuji illustrated from different locations in various weather conditions.
This 36th edition depicts a beautiful, close-up view of Mount Fuji. Rare, and extremely hard to come by, Karuizawa bottlings are fast disappearing as there aren’t too many casks left worldwide containing such revered whisky.
