Here’s a rare 18-year-old Karuizawa expression from Cask #737 distilled in 2000 and bottled for the Taiwanese market in 2018. Known as the ‘Bullfinch and Weeping Cherry’ bottling, the label features the work of famed Japanese artist, Hokusai (1760-1849). Ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period.

Karuizawa bottlings are fast disappearing as there aren’t too many casks left worldwide containing such revered whisky making this expression a highly sort after whisky that should appreciate nicely over time.
