This exclusive 25-year-old expression represents the epitome of Nikka’s artistry in the craft of whisky making. A real masterpiece with only 120 bottles released for the European market in 2012 with just 1 case purportedly making it to Australia.
Named in honour of the company's founder, MasatakaTaketsuru and made up of malts aged for at least 25 years from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. If you want a taste of the finest Nikka has to offer then this is for you. It also comes in a beautiful wooden presentation box that would take front and centre in any whisky collection.
NOSE: Floral and layered with candy cane, berries, some sherry towards the end and a hint of spice.
PALATE: Quite viscous.Toasted oak and orchard fruits with very subtle smoke and sherry.
FINISH: Lingering and fruity with more oak. Delightful
