Description:
This Nikka Yoichi single malt whisky was created at the Yoichi distillery, Nikka’s first distillery built in 1934, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the “Father of Japanese Whisky”. It was laid to rest for 15 years in bourbon casks and is characterized by the fragrance of aged casks, a mellow well-rounded palate, and a bold powerful taste. Sea breeze from the Ishikari Bay also delivers a hint of brine to the whisky during maturation.
