Official tasting notes
Nose: The peaty notes are more expressive than in the iconic Yoichi Single Malt, with a thick smokiness and notes of undergrowth that dominate the first nose. Then fruity aromas of ripe apple and lemon hints stand out to give a unique character.
Palate: At first, the rich and oily texture enhances salty notes. The peaty character remains while a second wave of smooth honey and floral flavours appear to create the perfect balance.
Finish: Wonderfully subtle, the finish surprises with its freshness and remains of peatiness, that remind of green apple and light ashes.
