White Oak’s whisky stills are only in operation for one month every year making for a very limited output and when their single malts do come on the market the whisky is named after its hometown “Akashi”. This NAS (No Age Statement) single malt was released in September 2012. It's a blend of 7yo, 5yo & 4yo malts from 3 types of casks and the intention is for this to become the distillery's 'house' expression. An interesting whisky for devotees looking to try something new.
