This Yamazaki 12-year-old arrived onto the market in 1984 and was the first seriously marketed Japanese single malt whisky. Demand for the expression has gone gang busters in recent years resulting in a world-wide shortage.
Made from 100% malted barley, this expression is produced in copper pot stills and matured in casks of American, Spanish and Japanese oak. It’s the perfect introduction into the world of Japanese whisky for the beginner and equally satisfying for whisky veterans.

Tasting notes:
NOSE. Floral and fruity, pineapple and orange zest with hints of vanilla.
PALATE. Soft and sweet with a citrus kick. Tropical with a little spice.
FINISH. Medium if not short.
