First released in 2008, this was made exclusive for the famous Miki Watanabe, owner of the Watami chain of over 630 restaurants and izakaya’s (informal drinking & eating establishments) in Japan. Only available to purchase at select Watami restaurants in Japan, this 12-year-old is a highly sought-after Yamazaki bottling for collectors and investors.
It contains more sherry cask-aged whiskies than the standard Yamazaki 12, so expect darker fruit notes than the traditional tropical fruit flavours of the standard 12-year-old.
