Every year since their inaugural 2014 bottling, Suntory releases a new limited edition of their acclaimed Yamazaki single malt whisky with very small quantities making it to Australian shores.
As in previous editions, Suntory Chief Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo has once again create whisky heaven with this 2016 bottling by marrying together young and old single malt whiskies aged in oak barrels from different origins. Comprising of two 20-year-old single malts aged in European oak ex-sherry and port wine casks and a younger single malt aged in ex bourbon American white oak casks. The result is a whisky of exceptional complexity and flavour.
This collector’s edition was specially created with the Yamazaki barrel halls painted on the bottle along with an ornate case displaying the golden name of Yamazaki in Japanese
Please note: The outer box has small imperfections and marks.
