Description:
We’ve had a very small quantity of these Yamazaki 2021 limited-edition expressions land on our virtual shelves after a long four-year hiatus that saw the Yamazaki brand release its last LE bottling in 2017.
Introducing the range in 2014, the whisky was one of the most sort after Japanese annual releases on the market that delivered in flavour, presentation and collectability.
Now, in a stunning departure from their previous LE releases that were blends of malts in the late teens, this Yamazaki 2021 limited-edition features a union of malts from 12 years of age (and older), spending 100% of their slumber in virgin Mizunara oak barrels. The label and presentation box echoes the rare Japanese Mizunara oak that is the cornerstone of this release with a wooden print in which the kanji of the distillery are pyrographed, with the label made of washi Echizen paper celebrating the Japanese tradition.
Limited to 1 per Customer.
