Official tasting notes
“The nose opens with coconut, oat biscuits, and zesty orange peel, layered with salty sea air, bonfire leaves, and a hint of strawberry laces and mint. The palate is rich and creamy, with custard creams, vanilla wafer, brine, and earthy smoke. A lingering, smoky, maritime warmth defines the finish”.

Description
This 10-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky marks the first chapter in what will become a recurring annual release from Ardnamurchan Distillery, located on Scotland’s rugged West Highland peninsula. While not yet a permanent core-range expression, the Ardnamurchan 10-Year-Old will be released each year in strictly limited quantities, gradually building consistency until it earns its place as a full-time core bottling.
This inaugural release of Ardnamurchan 10-Year-Old Highland single malt is bottled at 46.8% ABV, non-chill filtered and presented in natural colour, staying true to the distillery’s transparent, modern approach to Scotch whisky production. The composition leans heavily on Bourbon barrel maturation (98%), with a carefully judged 2% Sherry cask influence adding depth and richness.
A finely tuned balance of unpeated (52%) and peated (48%) spirit delivers layers of clean sweetness, vanilla and oak from the Bourbon casks, gently enhanced by subtle sherry notes and a restrained wisp of smoke for harmony, complexity and unmistakable Ardnamurchan character.
