Description
This Ardnamurchan AD/Cask Strength release from the West Highlands brings together 87% peated and 13% unpeated spirit for a richer, smokier profile than earlier editions.
Aged in 90% ex-Bourbon and 10% ex-Sherry casks, it’s bottled at a bold 58.3% ABV, non-chill filtered, and packed with coastal Highland character. A standout Scotch whisky for Australian whisky fans looking for a powerful, smoky single malt with real Ardnamurchan depth.
About Ardnamurchan distillery
Located on one of Scotland’s most remote and rugged peninsulas, Ardnamurchan Distillery is owned and operated by Adelphi, one of the UK’s most respected independent bottlers. Known for its commitment to sustainability, Ardnamurchan runs on renewable hydro-electric power and a large biomass boiler fuelled by local timber from the Ardnamurchan forest.
This system heats the site’s floor maltings and distillery, while the whisky itself is crafted using pristine spring water flowing from the hills above and feeding into the Glenmore River. The result is an environmentally conscious Scotch whisky producer with a reputation for purity, character, and world-class whisky
