Introducing the latest edition to the BenRiach peated range: The “Septendecin” (which means 17 in Latin). It follows the list of other Latin released labels such as the Curiositas, Authenticus, Heredotus Fumosus'. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, it’s a real heavyweight in the Benriach line-up.
This expression is becoming difficult to find world-wide as supply was limited.
NOSE: A hearty bouquet of peaty aromas followed by malt, tobacco and apple skins.
PALATE: Bold and sweet yet salty with more peat smoke. Tobacco and old leather also dominate with raisins in the mix.
FINISH: Long and full bodied.
