We’re incredibly excited to announce that the revered Independent Bottling brand ‘My Name Is Whisky’ (MNIW) is now available in Australia, exclusive to The Old Barrelhouse.

Dragon is the first bottle of My Name Is Whisky’s special edition collection dedicated to the Chinese Zodiac. The series celebrates the Lunar New Year and the incredible Chinese culture. This 25-year-old Bowmore distilled in 1998 and aged full term in Oloroso sherry is another example of how independent bottlers can often transcend distillery bottlings releasing delicious expressions in their own unique way. None chill filtered and with no added colour.

The Packaging
Dragon is a collector’s item. Each bottle is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, affirming its status as a unique spirit. The Team at MNIW believe that a quality whisky deserves to be presented in the finest manner possible. From the label to the flavour profile, every aspect of this limited edition reflects a profound respect for both the art of whisky-making and the cultural significance of the Chinese zodiac.

The mahogany wooden box housing the bottle is a handmade piece crafted in Italy by skilled artisans. Every detail has been carefully hand-etched onto each box, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that complements the exceptional character of the Dragon whisky within.

The image on the label is inspired by the Artist Casper David Friedrich’s painting ‘Wanderer’ above the Sea of Fog.
