Bruichladdich MP8 Port Charlotte Single Malt Whisky Tasting Set. 3 x 200ml
Out of Stock
Description
We’ve just purchased a small Bruichladdich collection from a prominent Australian whisky-collector that, to our surprise included 4 sets of these MP8 tasting kits. Well, there were 5 sets but we had to sample one been avid Bruichladdich fans ourselves. 😉
Released as single cask bottlings, the Micro-Providence (MP) tasting kit series has evolved into a profound example of the ideology that underpins the Bruichladdich Distillery as Progressive Hebridean Distillers. They are a celebration of the devil in the detail, demonstrations of the diversity possible when control and dedication are given to each and every cask, to each traceable batch of the principle raw ingredient.
This MP8 tasting kit features Port Charlotte spirit distilled from Islay grown barley, peated to 40ppm. There are controlled similarities and differences in the barley varieties, the respective harvests, and the casks used for the whiskies’ maturation.
The MP8 set includes:
