Description
Here’s another fantastic, cask strength release from the three Belgium lads behind The Whisky Jury from Islay in Scotland. Aged for 10 quiet years, firstly in bourbon for 2 years and then in a 1st fill Pedro Ximenez hoggie for an additional 8 years, this Bunna is a youthful sherry bomb that’s as decadent as the night is long.
Why the name Staoisha?
Staoisha is the name given by independent bottlers for heavily peated Bunnahabhain. The name is taken from a loch (lake) located a few kilometres from the distillery, in the heart of the island’s peat bogs. These drams tend to be on the younger side and are usually single casks at cask strength.
