Description
Here’s a 22-year-old single malt from Wm Cadenhead distilled by the Tamdhu distillery in Speyside. Tamdhu is a distillery which often flies under the radar, but continually produces fantastic whisky. Sold by the Edrington group to Ian Macleod distillers in 2011, only now is it being seriously marketed as a single malt through its official bottlings, having previously been mainly used in blends.
This whisky was laid to rest in bourbon hogsheads and then bottled at cask strength in 2014. As with all Cadenhead expressions, the whisky is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
